Not exactly inspiring curriculum.  The students need a chance to review everything they've learned in math this year, and they need practice with pencil-and-paper math tests -- things like reading directions carefully, double-checking their work, etc.  So we give them a math review packet to do before the end-of-year assessment.

At the end of the lesson, she gave the students stickers.

The girls got "girl stickers" and the boys got "boy stickers."

The girl stickers were pink with strawberries on them.

The boy stickers had Spiderman, and a beautiful white woman.

There were extras, so after everyone got one, my sister threw them away.

Yesterday, we celebrated Israel’s birthday.  As we always do, we danced with abandon to “Birthday,” by the Beatles.  The song lasts five or six minutes, and we jump and bounce and boogie all over the place to it.  It is very good for all of us.
